Shortly before her sixteenth birthday, on a cloudy summer's morning, Teresa was riding her horse back to the farm where she had lived her whole life. This was to be her last ride on her beloved horse. Dreading having to leave the farm and being forced to live in the city with her horrible Grandmother, she was going to run away from home.
