Create Your Desires and Fulfil Your Desires was written in his eightieth year by Donald Upton   BAc  DO  DNTh  FCO 
(& formerly also  MBAcC  and  MRadA)

He is retired after nearly forty-five years in private practice in
Surrey as a naturopath, acupuncturist, osteopath, naturopathic gynæcologist and radionic practitioner.  His practice was run along lines similar to that of a GP, in that individuals and whole families would treat him as their primary port of call in illness.  He used only the therapies above, in which he was qualified, plus homeopathy and the Bach Flower remedies, in which he was self-trained.

He has always been interested in spiritual (as opposed to religious) matters and, most of his life, also in psychic phenomena. He has used dowsing both in his practice and also generally (eg. in identifying and eliminating geopathic stress). He has also developed a new way of dowsing, which he calls “Direct Dialling”.

Since retiring he has, out of sheer interest, qualified in Thought Field Therapy  (TFT)  at levels 1 & 2, studied the similar Emotional Freedom Techniques  (EFT), studied Usui Reiki for a year with Reiki Master Taggart King to qualify at 1st. and 2nd. Degree levels & studied Quantum Touch healing through books, a workshop and practical application.

Past responsibilities and positions held include:
a)  One of the seven founders in 1966 of what was later the
College of Osteopaths Educational Trust and the College of
Osteopaths Practitioners’ Association (the former now simply The College of Osteopaths, a validated college under the Osteopaths Act, 1993 );
b)  President and Chairman of the College of Osteopaths for about ten years;
c)   Lecturer, examiner and member of the Board of Governors of the British College of Acupuncture for several years.

His other interests and hobbies through the years have included photography, music, performing entertainment magic, painting, wood-turning, wood-carving, vigorous table tennis and reading of all manner of subjects.
