Kevin Toller

Kevin was born and bred in Somerset where he still lives and works.

He is married to Gill with a daughter, Louise, who is studying at Edinburgh University.  

Kevin has worked in the public sector for many years and is currently a Strategic Director – part of the top management team – for his local council.

His first book – “The Time of Your Life” came from a long interest in time management and a frustration at not being able to find the book he really wanted on the subject.  He decided to write that book and seeing that others found it helpful, decided to get it published.

He uses his time management techniques to fit many interests into his life.  In addition to his very full time job he plays classical and electric guitar, teaching both to a range of students.  Playing in a classical guitar ensemble has given an opportunity to raise funds for local charities.

Kevin also loves to paint - mostly watercolours, but is dabbling in oils and acrylics. He began painting when he found that his first love of photography wasn’t giving him the images he wanted.  The advent of digital photography has changed all of that and his love of photographing landscapes has returned.  The photograph on the cover of his book is one of Kevin’s.

To keep fit Kevin runs raising money for various charities each year.  He recently completing his first half marathon – rather further than his more usual 10k distance. 

He says time management helps him do all of this and stay (reasonably) sane!
