All's Fair... be careful what you wish for!

Is Douglas Spencer a Ladies' Man? Can a duck swim? The perfect profession for him, an illustrious high flying gynaecologist at an end, Douglas Spencer decides in his retirement he will raise his profile in a business he's seen flourish over the years, from its tenacious beginnings in a Soho basement, to a multi-million pound state-of-the-art concern. A sex club with the interesting name SARDINE standing for Sexual And Rather Daring Intimate New Experiences. Stella is a woman suffused with a powerful sexuality, an understanding of all things carnal and on the look-out for a single man. Her fascination for Douglas, a man she deems 'would espouse the services of an Escort', leads her to invite him as a guest to a dinner. The fire of attraction that establishes itself between them is gently inflamed using the bellows of seduction operated by a past-master. He delves into her psyche discovering she fails to see herself as adult, encouraging her to believe that the answer to this problem is to sample all things sexual. She sets about creating a pretend 'Escort Agency' just for him. Douglas realises he now has everything on a plate and with a little persuasion, encourages her to come with him to London to the Sardine Club, to try Escorting for real. Believing this will ensure Douglas falls in love with her forever, she accompanies him. From then on it's a roller-coaster ride: take-over bids, intrigue, jealousy and betrayal - finally leading to murder, but whose..........?
